This warning goes into effect tonight, eighth September, and stays active through the morning of tenth September, 2025. River levels are projected to peak at 29.7 feet, which is very close to the highest level ever recorded.

The river is projected to exceed flood stage this evening, reaching a crest of 29.7 feet by Tuesday morning, before it starts to recede by Wednesday evening.

At 25.0 feet, the river will start to affect low-lying areas near the banks. As the water level continues to rise, a 30th Road bridge is expected to be submerged at 28.5 feet, causing significant disruptions for both residents and visitors. By the time the river reaches 29.0 feet, the southern parts of Tescott are likely to be impacted, with floodwaters spreading across city streets.
